I'm currently painting up my first full Warhammer 40,000 army.
I've always focused on single miniatures in the past, however I really want to build an army or two and paint them up so that I can start to play the game as well as paint.
My first army is a Grey Knights army. It's one I built a number of years ago, I fully assembled them but never got round to painting them.
It can be a pain painting fully assembled miniatures as it blocks some areas off and makes them hard to reach, but it presents the perfect window for me to get back into the hobby and get my first army done and completed.
I'm trying not to focus on getting them to a competition level of painting, but rather a good solid table top level, so that I can use them in games but still be proud of how they look on the table top.
