Another Day, Another Titan.

Well what to say really, I ordered another Titan.

Another Titan?! I hear you shout. Yes, another Titan, and this time - a Warlord Titan.

So, you might think why did you just order a Warlord Titan when you already have a Warhound, Reaver and only two weeks ago purchased a Warbringer...

Well, with Games-Workshop saying that they would potentially be raising their prices in March by up to 20% on some products (Resin included in the higher price raise bracket) I thought now was as good a time as any to get my Warlord.

I knew that eventually I would want to buy a Warlord Titan to stand alongside my other Titans, so in all honesty with the way that Games-Workshop increases their prices each year and their announcement to raise them further in March, I didn't want to make the purchase later this year and end up paying up to £150.00 GBP more than I could buy it at right now.

£150.00 buys you a lot of things, Warhammer or otherwise. So now seemed like a good time to make the purchase.

So with that said I placed my order and my Warlord Titan arrived yesterday.

I've been working late shifts this week and was busy at work yesterday evening and will be again today, so I'll be giving all the parts a thorough wash and inspection tomorrow to make sure all is in order.

I had a very quick glance at a few parts last night when I got home from work and it looks great upon first looks. All the bits I had a look at seemed like nice clean detailed casts without excessive release agent.

Since my experience with my Warhound Titan being overtly shiny due to the release agent and having a couple of miscast parts, this is always my fear when purchasing large Forge World kits. Luckily, although they take a very long time to sort things out, Forge World customer service are helpful and did get parts replaced for me.

I think it's safe to say that I've got a fair bit of Forge World stuff to be getting on with now as you can see in the picture below:

Now I just need more time to actually build and paint things!

It's funny, I was talking to a colleague the other day, discussing work life balance and income etc and I realized that when I was younger, I had all the time in the world to spend time on hobbying but never the money to afford it - now it's the other way round! I can finally afford the things I like but I don't really have any time to spend on it.

Until next time, stay safe, keep well and have a great day.
