Something slightly different today.
Funko Pop Chibi figures - Warhammer 40,000 style.
I've seen them floating around online for some time but never really thought of owning them, that is until now.
The other day when searching and looking at things surrounding the Warhammer 40,000 universe I once again stumbled across these Funko Pop Chibi style mini figures. After a quick search around I managed to order one of each of the released figures. These are comprised of an Ultramarine, a Space Wolf, a Blood Angel and Dark Angel.
The plan was never to re-paint any of them, but instead keep them in-box as possible collectors items in the future, but Amazon completely messed up by sending me one which was in really bad condition regarding it's box and packaging.
After talking to their customer support they said they'd refund me for it so that I can re-order the item from a different seller and as a bonus I didn't have to return the damaged package one.
On a separate note they completely messed up the refund and refunded me the wrong item whilst initiating a return on an item I haven't even received yet or that I even wanted to return...well done Amazon for royally messing that one up. What's even worse is when I contacted them to tell them of the error they weren't able to rectify it and emailed me back saying everything looked fine with my account. My faith in their staff's ability has dropped considerably to say the least.
Some poor chap in an Amazon warehouse somewhere is expecting an item to be returned to them which will never show up as I never asked to return it in the first place...
Anyway back to the fact that I now have an extra Dark Angels Chibi on my desk.
I don't think they models are poorly painted, for a small pre-painted figurine they are acceptable but given that I now have a spare I thought I'd have a go at painting him myself and re-doing the paint job.
